Too funny! I often wonder what makes some authors pick one soap or another when they need to make a reference. Is it the one they watch? The one they grew up with? In the case of ATWT, it's old enough it could be both.
I remember in the early 80s when everything was about GH because of Luke & Laura, or AMC because of Erica Kane. Then there was the whole Y&R leitmotif in MR. MOM, remember that?
Or GH on THE MUPPET SHOW? It would be funny to know who picked what, and why...
